This session will explore the importance of partnerships between families and early childhood teachers within the context of children’s learning.
We will investigate practical strategies for establishing two-way connections to involve families in the learning process. Participants will engage in facilitated conversations to consider the planning cycle in everyday practice and how they communicate and collaborate with families about children’s development and learning.
Completing the Family Inclusion in Children’s Learning session contributes 4 hours and 30 minutes of QTC Registered PD addressing 3.7.2 and 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Participants must attend the full session to be eligible for the accredited hours.
