Have you ever wondered what causes a volcano to erupt?
This session provides an overview of 5-12 year old brain development, theories of child development as well as hands-on, engaging activities that draw us into a child’s perspective on what’s occurring behind their behaviours. We will learn how to look more deeply at children’s behaviour and to think about what causes the eruption.
With a focus on middle childhood, this workshop provides realistic and practical strategies, this session is designed as a starting point for educators wanting to build their skills around understanding and working with children’s behaviour.
