Trust within an early education team is critical to establishing effective communication. Without effective communication misunderstandings can occur quickly, emotions escalate, staff wellbeing slides and too much time is spent on conflict resolution instead of being able to deliver quality early educational outcomes for your clients.
This dynamic, fun and interactive masterclass provides leaders with skills and tools to confidently work with teams to:
• Improve their understanding about what gets in the way of good communication
• Explore the impact good and difficult conversations have on the way the brain work
• Learn the importance of trust and how it impacts communication
• Develop insights into conversational patterns and learn how to read them
• Design communication practices to tackle challenging conversations
Be prepared to reflect on your established practices and experiment with some new and innovative communication techniques. By the end of the day you will be able to return back to your service with practical strategies and new perspectives that will not only elevate your communication but also that of your team!
After the Masterclass you will be invited to come together via webinar to share your experiences with Sarah and other members of the group. This valuable session will enable you to discuss what worked, workshop how to overcome barriers to implementation, and learn from others (Invitations to the 30 minute webinar will be emailed closer to the date)
Completing Conscious Conversations Are Key Masterclass, will contribute 6 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
