‘Good programs at critical points in development are able to shape children’s outcomes across five domains’ (AEDC). Early childhood educators play a vital role in reducing vulnerabilities in children. By exploring current research and understanding what it is to work with a trauma informed approach this workshop aims to support educators who are working with and supporting children who often have complex and difficult life experiences.
Completing Vulnerable and Valuable working with a strengths based approach to bring out the best in children from vulnerable backgrounds will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 1.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
