Self Assessment 2 (Member) – Using the Self-Assessment tool: Strategies to turn QIP strengths into visible and evidence based practice - Webinar

In this session, we will explore how the NSW Regulatory Authority Self-Assessment Working Document can support the identification of key practices and evidence for NSW services, and how it can be used to build educator confidence and aid in preparing for Assessment & Rating.

The session will support participants to transfer their QIP strengths into key practices and evidence. It will also enable educators to identify information and continuous improvement ideas that can be recorded in the self-assessment tool.

Who should attend? People who have attended the session Self Assessment 1 - Implementing self assessment in the quality improvement process.

For those in other states and territories the ACECQA Self-Assessment tool will be used to support the identification of key practices to support Assessment and rating and continuous improvement.

NB 14/12/2020: On 30 November 2020, the endorsement of all NESA endorsed providers was cancelled and registered courses were deregistered. A new policy for the Accreditation of Professional Development courses was released. The new application processes will be published and phased in during 2021. In line with this, CELA will submit an application for our courses to be re-assessed and re-accredited.

After 5 February 2021, courses will need to be accredited to continue contributing towards the maintenance of teacher accreditation requirements. CELA will continue to keep you informed and updated based on information that is progressively received from NESA regarding this re-accreditation process.
